So, we move today from a pattern to a practical application. Notice the link from the hymn to this passage – “wherefore” or put another way, “so then” or “now what?” Paul is looking back at the example of Jesus and ramping up to make some strong exhortations to help us all as believers focus on our own work so we can bring glory to God.
