Philippians 3:12-14

Main Thing to Know:
Who has God called and created me to be?

1. God has a plan unique for you

His plan & purpose are:

• Designed for you
. . . but one thing I do (v. 13)

• Possible for you
. . . reaching forward . . . I press toward (v. 13-14)

• Best for you
. . . the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (v. 14)

2. God’s plan involves spiritual gifts

Definition:
God-given abilities that enable you to serve others and strengthen the local church

What about natural talents & skills?

As followers of Jesus, we are called:

To Discover our spiritual gifts

To Deploy our spiritual gifts

Among other purposes, “we are saved to serve.” To equip for service, God gives one or more spiritual gifts to every child of His. He does not want “deadwood” in His church.
