1 Corinthians 3:1-9

 In this world, we will have spiritual problems. 

People without a mature and maturing faith can only bring worldly wisdom.

Solving spiritual problems with worldly wisdom will always lead to division.

Spiritual wisdom has Jesus at the center.

Spiritual wisdom is the fruit of a mature and maturing faith.

How do you grow in spiritual wisdom to see Jesus in all things?

Head

• What is the spiritual problem being discussed in this text? What is the cause of this division? 
• What do you think Paul means when he tells them they are not ready for solid food?
• In the sermon, we said a mature and maturing faith is essential for spiritual wisdom. How would you describe a mature and maturing faith?

Heart

• How have you tried to solve spiritual problems with worldly wisdom? What was the result of those efforts?
• In the sermon, we discussed the points below on how we can grow in spiritual wisdom to see God in all things. Share how you have experienced these rhythms and practices.
  • Collective rhythm – Worship, grow (Life Groups), and serve
  • Personal rhythm – reading Scripture, prayer, reflection
  • Test your wisdom. 
    • Who is being honored or served by this decision the most?
    • Does this decision align with the character of Jesus expressed in the Scriptures?
  • Don’t give up.
