“Why Christmas?”

Why Christmas?

Christmas Concert 2022  |   1 John 1:3

We know about the events of Christmas, but what do they mean?

“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”    1 John 1:3

One of the things that Christmas means, is that you can have the most intimate fellowship with God.

Christmas means that God has gone to infinite lengths so that you can know Him personally.

John 1:1, 14

Because He became human, Jesus is someone we can relate to.

Philippians 2:5-11

God draws you to Himself by His grace, but then you must make an effort to deepen your relationship with Him – it doesn’t happen automatically.

Are you taking the time and making the effort to grow in grace and knowledge?

2 Peter 3:18

John 1:12

The word “fellowship” at its root, is a deep sharing of things in common, namely Jesus, and the salvation that places us in fellowship with other believers everywhere who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

COMMUNION and PARTNERSHIP

John 14:27

Hebrews 13:5

Christianity is a personal and intimate relationship with the God who made us through His Son, who became one of us, and who paid the price for our sins on the Cross.
