                                                             Luke 2:1-14

 

Being is one of the traits that helps us experience the wonder of Christmas

Will read Luke 2:1-14

The angel actress preparing for the Nativity scene modelled some questions

A wonder of Christmas – God made the move in loving us by sending His son Jesus

“We love because God first loved us”

I John 4:19 (CEV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish

but have eternal life”     

John 3:16 (RSV)

The God who loves us is the God who is us in the person of Jesus

God made the move to choose as the mother of Jesus

Mary loved God with her life

God to be communicated with by those whom He loves

Calling out to Him is what God us to do

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)

God wants us to , connect, convey, and wait to receive from Him.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

 James 4:8  (ESV)

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:6-7  (ESV)

If Peter can trust that kind of love modeled in Jesus, so can

Jesus is the Savior who was born for “ people”

Remember:  God loves this Christmas

He is the God who is you

“If God is for us, who can be against us?”

What would it look like for you to open your and life to Jesus?
