Good Christian Men, Rejoice!

We continue to look at the Christmas carols in the Bible. First, we looked at Mary’s song, the Magnificat. Today, we will look at Zacharias’ song, called the Benedictus after the first words in the Latin translation.  Zacharias was a very interesting character. When you study Zacharias, he was a very talented and gifted man. God had called him and was intending to use him in a very significant kind of way. The problem was that Zacharias did not believe God, and when he did not believe God, God closed his mouth.
