INTEGRITY – When your matches your

Proverbs 11:3 (ESV)

3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.

1 Samuel 12:23–24 (NLT)

23 “As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.

24 But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.

Psalm 15:1–5 (NLT)

1 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?

2 Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right , speaking the truth from sincere hearts.

3 Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.

4 Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts.

5 Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.

Four benefits of a life of integrity…

1) You can walk with God.

2) You’ll have a built-in .

3) You’ll have constant .

4) You trust, honor, respect and influence.

The Challenge:  Many people lack

 Matthew 23:15 (NLT)

15 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!

Matthew 23:25–26 (NLT)

25 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and self-indulgence!

26 You blind Pharisee! First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too.

Matthew 23:28 (NLT)

28 Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.

WHAT IS OUR INTEGRITY WORTH?

 Job 27:5–6 (NLT)

5 I will never concede that you are right; I will defend my integrity until I die.

6 I will maintain my innocence without wavering. My conscience is clear for as long as I live.

Our integrity should mean to us.

When you have integrity – Nothing else !

When you don’t have integrity – Nothing else !

Matthew 5:37 (NLT)

37 Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.
