Part 1: Godly Risk Takers!

Step #1: God us to take godly risks!

• Sometimes God “stirs us” with a call, like he did with Abraham!
• Sometimes God “stirs us” with a crisis, like he did with Joseph!
• Sometimes God “stirs us” with an injustice, like he did Moses!
• Sometimes God “stirs us” through a loved one, like he did with Esther!
• Sometimes God “stirs us” through dissatisfaction, like he did with Paul!

Step #2: God us in taking godly risks!

¹⁹ A little farther up the shore Jesus saw Zebedee’s sons, James and John, in a boat repairing their nets. ²⁰ He called them … and they also followed him, leaving their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired men.

When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. ³⁷ He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. ³⁸ So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor. ²⁷ The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you.
