“Be Humble” // MISFITS [Part 9]

1 Peter 5:5-6a “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves…”

“Humble yourselves…” In other words, take the steps and do the things to become humble, cause if you stay proud, God will resist you, but if you humble you, God will give you grace.

Being does not mean being .

How do you humble you?

You humble you when you trust God what you.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on Him, because He cares about you. 

You didn’t cast all your cares on God when you prayed about it, you did cast all your cares on God when you did what God said do with it.

1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world. 

How you view opposition in your life is a clear reflection of your humility.

This difficulty is tough, but it does not mean that God has left you.
