We must be rightly related to the church of Jesus Christ. How?

Know Jesus Intimately

Matthew 16:13 – “Who do people say …?”

Matthew 16:15 – “But who do you say that I am?”

Declare Jesus Confidently

Matthew 16:18 – “upon this rock”

1 Corinthians 3:11

Live Under the Authority of Jesus, Vitally Connected to His Church

Matthew 16:19 – “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven”

1 Peter 2:5

Jesus said two things about the church that guarantees her future …

1^st – “I will build My church”

Share in the Glorious Future of the Church

2^nd thing Jesus said about the church and her future …

“And the gates of Hades will not overpower it.”
